Sison cernuum Salisb. Agrotis segetum, sometimes known as the turnip moth, is a moth of the family Noctuidae. The species was first described by Michael Denis and Ignaz Schiffermüller in 1775. [1] It is a common European species and it is found in Africa and across Eurasia except for the northernmost parts.

Petroselinum segetum is a BIENNIAL growing to 1 m (3ft 3in). It is in flower from August to September. The species is hermaphrodite (has both male and female organs) and is pollinated by Insects.
