2012, the network initiated a Special Interest Group within EECERA. The SIG focuses on the issue of gender balance in the ECE work force, and on the important role gender plays in adult-child-relations. The Holistic Well-being EECERA SIG, in collaboration with the Department of Early Childhood at Liverpool Hope University, held its inaugural Conference in Liverpool on 28th-30th June. The Conference was entitled: ‘Debates in child and family well-being’ and participants from different countries had the chance to share initiatives, projects, thoughts and reflections on aspects of child and family well-being.
